Tim Leite TalkDate: Dec 6, 2007 Title: AbstractBioTim Leite is the Director of Education Programs for Visual Numerics, Inc. In his education programs role he is responsible for establishing partnerships with academic institutions and facilitating the computational requirements of researchers and instructors within the academic community. Tim has been with Visual Numerics for over 21 years in various roles. He started as a mathematical programmer working with algorithms in the areas of linear algebra, transforms, nonlinear systems of equations, and numerical optimization. He was also responsible for optimizing algorithm performance for high performance computing systems. Other roles at Visual Numerics included Technical Support manager, Product manager, and Software Development director. Tim received a B.S. in Mathematics (1981) and a M. S. in Applied Mathematics (1982) from Michigan State University and Tim is a member of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM). Access Control: (Please don't edit)
