Opening for Administrative AssistantThe Resource-aware Programming (RAP) research group at Rice University conducts cutting edge research in building for challenging application domains. A recent overview of our research is available as a Google TechTalk.Our research program is supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and our industrial partners (in particular, Intel, Schlumberger, and LogicBlox). The current focus of our research is on advancing the state of the art in the Science of Design and Physically Safe Computing. In addiiton to being involved in foundational research in language design, members of the RAP group design and develop the programming languages that we design and maintain, such as MetaOCaml, Concoqtion, and Acumen, as well as demonstrating its effectiveness for building high-quality software.
