Doctoral/Postdoc Position Available at the University of Passau, GermanyProject: FeatureFoundation: Algebra-Based Feature-Oriented Program Synthesis The Programming Group at the University of Passau is seeking a doctoral student or postdoc working on the DFG-funded project FeatureFoundation: Algebra-Based Feature-Oriented Program Synthesis Candidates are expected to have an interest in software product lines, program generation, programming language technology. Fluency in English is required; good skills in German are preferrable. The position is initially available for a term of two years and is renewable for another two, possibly three years. The salasry is determined by the candidates family status according to the German civil service tariff TV-L, typically around 1400-1500 Euros after tax. Passau is located at the confluence of the major European rivers Inn and Danube, at the border of Germany and Austria and close to the Czech republic. It is well connected with major European locations via train, and world-wide via the international airport at Munich. The University of Passau aims to increase the percentage of women in research and teaching, and therefore encourages female candidates to apply.
