Robert Hanmer Short BioRobert Hanmer is a Consulting Member of Technical Staff at Alcatel-Lucent. He worked on switching system fault tolerance and system integrity and has consulted internally on architecture, reliability and performance representing Bell Labs. He is active in the software pattern community and has written many patterns about real-time and embedded systems and a new book “Patterns for Fault Tolerant Software”. He has BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
